DIY Colouring Windmill

My six-year-old loved colouring each blade a different pattern, and the snap-together assembly was easy enough for her to do almost on her own. It spins nicely in a light breeze, which made her so proud.

The windmill blades are thick enough to hold up to a toddler's enthusiastic coloring, and snapping the pieces together was simple enough for my six-year-old to do mostly on her own.

My five-year-old had so much fun coloring the wooden blades and then clicking them into place, and the whole thing spins nicely in a light breeze. It kept her busy for a good hour and looks cheerful on the windowsill.
