DIY Painting Wooden Plane

I love that the paint set includes enough colors for a few different design ideas. My son painted his plane bright red and blue, and the pieces snapped together perfectly. A fun, mess-free afternoon project.

The wooden pieces fit together so smoothly that assembly was genuinely satisfying, and the pre-cut slots made it easy even for my 6-year-old. My son spent a happy afternoon painting his plane in bright colors, and now it sits proudly on his shelf as a custom decoration.

The 19.5cm wingspan is the perfect size for my nephew's little hands, and the wood is smooth enough that I didn't worry about splinters while he painted. He's been flying it around the room all afternoon, even before the paint fully dried.
