Chapteh
Category: Games and Toys
Also known as 毽子 (Chapteh in Chinese) or Chatek or capteh, our chaptehs are premium models made with genuine feathers. This game is at least 2000 years old and is played all over the world, especially in South East Asia. The Chapteh originated from cuju, a football-like game that was being used in military training. The sport of Chapteh now receives recognition and is one of the sports in the SEA games.
Here are the Chapteh rules: When playing, various parts of your body (except your hands) are being used to keep the chapteh from falling onto the ground. Read more about Chapteh and its history.
