My three-year-old grabbed one of these and didn't put it down for an hour at the beach. The compact size was perfect for her little hands, and they dug through the wet sand with zero effort.

My kids grabbed these the second we hit the beach and didn't put them down for hours—the compact size is perfect for their little hands. They dug a massive moat and built a whole castle without any bending or struggling.

My daughter's been digging trenches with these all afternoon and they're holding up great. The 16.5 x 8 cm size is perfect for her little hands—not too big, not too flimsy. Honestly, for the price, these are a no-brainer.
