DIY Colouring Kite

I was surprised how easy it was to assemble the kite frame with the kids, and the pre-printed outlines made colouring a breeze instead of a blank canvas. My son spent a good hour decorating his before we even got outside.

The fabric took the markers really well without bleeding through, which made for a much neater project. Seeing it finally catch the wind after we finished decorating was so satisfying for both of us.

My kid was thrilled to color in the kite pieces, and assembly was simple enough for us to do together. It actually flew well in a light breeze right after we finished decorating it.
